Free Download Yahoo Messenger 1.0.4 [Linux Software] - Yahoo! Messenger for UNIX.

Yahoo! Messenger clients send instant messages to your Windows and Unix friends!

This is the official version of Yahoo! Instant Messenger. Although some programs have been released that allows you to use Yahoo!, the official version has many features that other clients do not have, such as integration with other Yahoo! services.
In addition to instant messaging, the client maintains a list of your friends. It is stored on the server, not on your hard drive. This is a big advantage, because sometimes the hard drive formated!

The program also allows you to maintain a list of rejection, and will even run without being seen, so you can check offline messages without interruption. This client is surprisingly stable. This is a very good program built that I will recommend it to anyone. If you are Yahoo!, you need this program!

Free Download Skype 5.5.0.2340 [Mac Software] - Skype is the next phenomenon from the people who brought you Kazaa. Just like KaZaA, Skype uses P2P (peer-to-peer) technology to connect you with other users not to share files this time, but to talk and chat with your friends.

Skype made with highly advanced technology but super simple to use ... You will make free phone calls to your friends in no time!

Our software is fast and easy to start with. Download, register, install, plug a headset, speakers or USB phone and start calling your friends.

The calls have excellent sound quality and are highly secure with end-to-end encryption. You do not even need to configure your firewall or router or other network equipment. It's just, you know works.

Here are some key features of "Skype":

· When it comes to talking, instant messaging or transferring files, we've tried hard to make it safe. Skype automatically encrypts everything before sending it over the internet. Likewise, on arrival everything is decrypted on-the-spot and presented as crystal clear speak, text or no transfer of files can intercept
· All the security in the world will not matter, though, if you can not hear others. With Skype, you can. We work with the best in the industry to provide sound quality far superior to what you're used to from a regular phone. If you'll bear with us for a moment here we'd like to share some technical stuff with you: with normal phone you can only hear sounds from 300 Hz to 3 kHz. Not so with Skype; Our entire spectrum, from lowest to highest screetch hum. In other words: it will sound like two different letters they were meant to, and in the end you will be able to have conversations much more natural

• That also goes for conferences. It is completely safe for you and up to four other people to get together to coordinate tactics in the game, making one of the important business decisions or simply chatting, even if you are all on different continents

· Earching for those long-lost relatives or just somebody for a quick chat with is also part of what Skype is all about. We have what we call a Global User Directory. This is a giant phonebook of all people who use Skype. You can use it to find the person you want to talk to, someone who has the same birthday or people who just happen to live in the same way as you

· When you find someone you know or even someone who wants to know, you add them to your contacts list. You can also write a little note to let them know who you are and why you want to add them to your list. Useful, if you are separated-at-birth-twin finds you on Skype. When people are on your list, you can see if they are online, offline, busy ... or maybe out to lunch

· Do we mention that you also can send instant messages with Skype? Well, you can. That's great for when you're talking about a website and you want to send a really long address or if you're writing songs as possible. Either way, you can send one of their little smiling faces along with your message. Smile for the world and the world smiles back
